Our National Projects Coordinator Ms. Enna Lutengano represented YWCA-TZ at the Tanzania Gender Network Festival held in Dar es Salaam from the 3rd to the 6th of September 2013, actually sitting on the citizen parliament of the festival and advocating for the rights of youth to be reflected in the new National Constitution currently being drafted.

Issues raised by Enna included:
- Increased accessibility of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights education and services for youth and women
- Rights for girls to access education and to be protected against all forms of violence (such as, child marriage, female genital mutilation and negative traditional practices)
- Participation of youth in the process of drafting the new constitution

The citizen parliament encouraged all participants at the festival to continue advocating the issues raised at the Special Bunge for Constitution to be held in Dodoma in November 2013.

Well done Enna for your contribution at the festival and your efforts in ensuring that the rights of youth, especially young women, are protected in the country in the years to come!
